A big part of architecture and interior design revolves around lighting design. You might think this is about making the most of natural light, getting it into places that might otherwise be dark and gloomy, and you’d be right. But, artificial lighting is also hugely important in designing a gorgeous home too.

The lighting here is recessed into the ceiling to brighten up this basement room.
In this bathroom we built lights into the joinery to provide focal points of interest and make the room feel much larger.
Stylish pendant lights have been used above this dining table in a luxury apartment in Battersea.
This glass balustrade allows plenty of natural light to cascade down the staircase, but some additional spotlights highlight the tread and also illuminate the artwork at the foot of the stairs.
Feature lighting in this bedroom create a stylish, warm feel, but also help to illuminate the walk-in wardrobe too.
