We were asked to carry out the full renovation and refurbishment of a three bedroom penthouse apartment alongside Albert Bridge, overlooking the Thames and Battersea Park.
Our design has transformed the property into a luxurious two bedroom home for our client. Open plan living was a key part of the client’s brief so we started with the entrance floor and created an open kitchen / living / dining area which have a great connection to the terrace space.
By reconfiguring the upper floor we created a large master suite that stretches the width of the apartment and is flooded with natural light and views of Battersea Park and The Thames. There are large bespoke wardrobes and a small study area within the room also with a master ensuite behind. The ensuite features stone tiling, a beautiful stone basin and also a picture window from the shower to take in the views of the top of the trees in the park.
The existing staircase was replaced with a striking new design comprised of oversized stone and timber treads. Dark wood floor has been used throughout the scheme, with the walls a contrasting white so that the client could display all of their beautiful art pieces. Stone elements feature quite heavily in the scheme on the staircase, kitchen and bathrooms.
A guest bedroom and separate bathroom was retained.
