We were asked to carry out the refurbishment of a two bedroom flat in Sloane Square for a professional couple. Our design has transformed the apartment into a functional and luxurious modern space. By opening two existing separate reception rooms into one grand living and dining area, the space has achieved a more open presence, while allowing in substantially more light. Although the works did not require planning consent from London Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, we did have to liaise with the Cadogan estate to obtain their permission and the terms of a lisence to alter.
New wood flooring throughout this area includes acoustic treatments that comply with this historic estate’s stringent standards. The hall, both bedrooms, as well as the bathrooms have been refurbished, bringing a fresh and modern style to the apartment. A new joinery arrangement in the dressing area and the addition of an AV music system, with wall speakers in the bedroom complete the refurbishment and accentuate the space.
After investing a little love and attention in this once tired flat, the refurbishment has transformed this apartment into a sophisticated, luxurious and modern space.
