Property Development Summit 2017

Published on: 23 Jan 2017

The countdown is on for the Property Development Summit in London, are you going?

The event is taking place on January 28th and Granit’s James Munro is one of the guest speakers, alongside an impressive line-up of developers and other property professionals.

The idea of the Summit is to address the challenges developers might need to overcome as they build new homes in the Capital. There are sessions on deal sourcing, working with planning, funding, using property technology, and marketing to attract investors.

James will be presenting three case studies of projects on brownfield sites in London. As a practice, Granit has developed considerable expertise in tackling the challenges associated with tight brownfield and infill sites. We are often called in to review an existing scheme to look for opportunities to expand the return on investment from a site.

Some of the issues James will explore in his presentation include:

– Finding sites
– Getting planning permission
– Planning challenges and how to overcome them
– Handling site and technical constraints when the projects were built out
– Project financing
– Getting an ROI

You can see in the short video below some of the case studies James will be reviewing.

If you would like to come along there are just a handful of tickets remaining and they can be booked online here.

We’re also happy to take you through these case studies outside of the event if you want to learn more about how to develop brownfield sites in London. Please contact us here to arrange a free consultation.
