Mantas joined Granit in September 2014 after having gained a first-class honours degree in Architecture from the University of Portsmouth. During his time at Granit, Mantas undertook his masters degree and was nominated for the prestigious RIBA silver president's medal award. He then went on to complete his Part III and is now a fully qualified Architect. Mantas is influenced by architects such as Peter Zumthor and Carlo Scarpa who inspired him during his studies. His construction experience has also provoked an interest in the detailing of a project. Creating solutions of how different building elements, such as materials, structural systems and openings can be combined effectively to create highly appealing, yet functional architecture. Outside of architecture, Mantas loves to travel and expresses an interest in photography and videography.
