Olivia returned to Granit in 2023 after completing her Masters, where she achieved the ‘RIBA Best Masters Scheme’ Award for her project on adaptive reuse, which sparked massive interest in how to renew dilapidated buildings without demolishing them. Olivia’s interests also lie in travelling the world. Having spent time in South-East Asia and South America, Olivia became interested in how architecture responds to culture, religion and space. Travelling has helped Olivia realise how pivotal sustainability is in the modern world. As Olivia gains experience in all stages at Granit, she is preparing to start her Part III qualification within the next year and soon fully qualify as an architect.
