Robert completed his Part II Masters study in Architecture at the University of Kent in 2018. He chose to specialise his time exploring computational design as a method to generate form and space in different ways. Rob qualified as an Architect in 2020. Robert has previous Architectural experience working in the residential sector on new build and existing dwellings with a focus on technical design. During his time there he was also involved in commercial and masterplan projects. Previously to working at Granit, Rob spent time on site including assisting stonemasons in the restoration of a London townhouse. This was beneficial in gaining an understanding of basic but vital construction processes. His architectural interests include the integration of new technologies and construction techniques, looking to create innovative and intuitive architectural solutions. Rob aspires to create bespoke designs that can adapt and enhance as the needs of environments develop.
