Will got into architecture due to his late Grandfather, who was a builder. Not being the most physical of workers, he decided to get his hands dirty before the builders even knew about the projects by becoming an Architect. Will studied for his Part I in Architecture at Nottingham Trent University and is now taking his Part II. He joined Granit in November 2019, keen to get involved in our numerous residential projects in and around London. He thoroughly enjoys working within Granit's team, attempting to accommodate planners and work alongside associates. Will is motivated by designing buildings that exceed their potential, creating bespoke architecture, and working with Granit's clients to fulfil their brief. He previously worked for a practice specialising in Passivhaus and now has a particular interest in designing buildings that require ultra-low amounts of energy to heat. Interestingly, he has also worked as an antique dealer, which sparked his interest in design and interiors. Outside of work, Will enjoys visiting the wide variety of exhibitions London has to offer, as well as getting out of the city when he can to explore and travel. One day he hopes to open an Architectural practice of his own!
