Granit Welcomes Emily Osler

At the end of last year one of our team left to return to her native New Zealand. As sad as we were to lose her, it does give us the opportunity to welcome a new team member, Emily Osler.

Emily gained her architectural qualifications at the Glasgow School of Art’s renowned Mackintosh School of Architecture. Her architectural influences are Alvar Alto, Peter Zumthor, Caruso St John and David Chipperfield due to their ability to use materials sensitively, blending old and new, and how they use light in interesting ways.

Emily recently visited Berlin and was impressed by the Neues Museum, the reconstruction of which was recently overseen by Chipperfield.

Outside of work Emily is a qualified ski instructor and loves to travel, with recent trips to Reykjavik and South East Asia. She has a love for museums and admits to being a movie geek too. We are delighted to have such a colourful character joining our practice.

Welcome to the team Emily.
