Every now and again we have the privilege of welcoming a new member to our team. Today we welcome Linzi Kettle to the Granit Architects family.

Linzi joins us as an Architectural Assistant after graduating from De Montfort University in July this year. She has been employed by two architects practices prior to Granit, mostly working on residential projects.

Linzi is interested in projects with listed buildings and enjoys visiting any that form a strong part of the English Heritage. She is also keen to explore the applications of sustainable materials and technologies within building design – which helps as our practice is firmly of the opinion that sustainability should be a core factor in every building.

During her studies and in her spare time Linzi has done a fair bit of travelling, visiting Barcelona, Rome, Paris, several Greek Islands, New York, Las Vegas and Niagara Falls. “I love learning about different cultures and exploring new places.”
