We have exciting news! Granit has recently been awarded the title of ‘Leading Innovator in Architecture & Interiors, London,’ in BUILD Magazine’s 2019 Design and Build awards.

The team at BUILD reached a decision after putting together a shortlist of architects. They base their search on various criteria including architectural industry news, media attention and testimonials. We chatted to the team at the magazine who also told us they’d been impressed by the design work for our Wigton Place, Portsmouth Avenue and Yew Tree Cottage projects.

These particular projects showcase where our designs have transformed properties that were previously derelict or in a state of disrepair. Undoubtedly new build designs require high levels of innovation. However, working to extend and improve a listed property such as Yew Tree Cottage (above), can require even more creativity. Finding design solutions for integrating old with new requires a lot of careful thought and drawing work.

A quick visit to the project page of our website shows examples of how we are always looking for new and innovative ways to adapt and improve properties to create beautiful and unique homes for our clients. Each case-study presents new challenges in terms of architectural and interior design. We view this as a great chance to be as innovative and creative as possible!
