We’re thrilled, planning consent gained in Merton for the remodelling of a house in a conservation area of Raynes Park, South London.

Our proposals are in 2 parts. At ground level, the existing rear extensions are to be demolished, with a new full-width extension creating a kitchen and living area onto a deck. A new WC and utility area are also created. Dropped floor levels will create a dramatic internal space.

At roof level, two new dormers allow for the creation of a master bedroom and en-suite.

The extensions and new elements are sympathetic to the existing house, picking up elements of detailing and materials. This will be set against a large frameless glazing system.

Work on site is due to start late 2012 / early 2013.
