We have recently received planning permission to extend a detached 1930s property in Beckenham, LB of Bromley. The proposal involves extending the 2-storey property out at the side in a manner sensitive to the other arts and crafts style houses in the area, and creating a much more contemporary ground floor extension to the rear. Raising the existing terrace level will open up the new living room and kitchen to the garden, whilst a reorganisation of the rest of the interior provides a modern, long-term family home. Work should start on site early 2013.
