Granit are excited to announce that works have recently started on a full refurbishment to a large Victorian terraced property in Clonmel Road, Fulham. The property has been stripped out and the roof removed in readiness for forming a new mansard structure. Over the next few weeks we will see the steelwork and structural studwork installed. The proposals will transform a dated property into an attractive 5 bed home for our clients. We obtained planning consent, with LB Hammersmith and Fulham, to form a mansard extension to the front roof and to create a contemporary glazed addition to the rear and side.

The clients gave our interior designers an exciting challenge to design unique spaces around the house, inspired by their travels around the world. Their vision for their 5-bed / 5-bathroom home ranged from a Moroccan inspired Ensuite, to Botanical and Victorian bathrooms, to an East-Asian inspired W/C. We took this as an opportunity to explore a variety of materials, and work with a broad spectrum of colours and finishes that we wouldn’t ordinarily get to work with, which we love!
