An existing house in Putney was demolished and replaced with a four storey new build property, to meet our clients needs and expanding family.

The property is located in a conservation area, and, as such, we worked closely with the conservation officer from London Borough of Wandsworth to develop the parameters of the design. The result is a modern vernacular, sympathetic to the location, and its neighbours and an enhancement to the existing property.

The house is constructed from a concrete frame, above a full basement and comprises of a range of reception and living areas at ground and basement levels, with a master suite and family bedrooms on the upper levels. The basement floor opens onto a lower terrace, with a full landscaping design implemented by Nash Garden Design.

The house features a number of sustainable and energy saving measures, including a ground source heat pumps, provided by two boreholes, and a full Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) ventilation system.
