This new build house across three storeys, is built on a dilapidated garage, to the rear of another property. Our client, a commercial developer wanted to maximise the return on investment of a large Victorian terraced property. To the rear of the plot, and adjacent to a side road, an underused garage gave the possiblity for a development plot, although there were numerous challenges to overcome, including the wedge shaped plot, proximity to the rear of neighbouring houses, and providing a new dwelling with sufficient outlook, daylight and and amenity space. We obtained planning consent, in LB Wandsworth, for the new house and are now working with the contractor to deliver this exciting project on site.
