1. What made you decide you needed an architect?

Although the house was fine before, it was not tailored to our family. Coming from Australia, we wanted a place that felt like home. We wanted the house to be family friendly, have an open floor plan, which let in lots of light and was able to accommodate houseguests.

2. What made you choose Granit Architects?

BTL initially referred us, however recognising the scope of the work, we knew we needed a professional to help us complete this once in a lifetime project. After meeting with Granit it was clear that they had the necessary skills to complete this project.

3. What has been your experience in working with Granit?

Our experience of working with Granit has been remarkable. The entire process was so easy and if we were to do it over again, we would not change a thing. James and the team at Granit took the time to get to know us, and what we wanted. The level of detail was amazing and the pre-project management was superb.

4. What have been the benefits to you personally?

With Granit’s help we have been able to customise this house to our needs and bring a little piece of Australia into our home. Everyday we reap the benefits of Granit’s work – when we come downstairs on a sunny morning and the entire house is filled with light, thanks to their clever open floor plan and lighting placement. Or on a cold and rainy morning when we come downstairs and our floors are heated. These little things truly make a difference and have made us very happy.

5. What would you say to somebody who is thinking of using our services?

We highly recommend working with Granit and had a truly remarkable experience.
