How would you describe the experience of working with Granit?
We had a great experience with Granit.
They were easy to work with because they just got what we needed; they were quick to get to grips with our brief. At no point was there any misunderstanding about what we wanted to achieve.
The project was not without its challenges, and we had some issues with our builder, which Granit handled well and with extreme professionalism. They made a stressful situation a lot easier.
How did you find the process of working with Granit?
Ultimately Granit did very well and answered the brief perfectly.
They were always sensitive in the way they dealt with my husband and me as clients with different views. This helped us to navigate the myriad of design decisions, and as a result, we have a fantastic home we both enjoy.
What would you say to someone thinking of appointing Granit?
Granit is a small practice but behaves with the levels of professionalism you might expect from a medium or large firm. You can really trust them. The relationship with your Architect is easier if you make your brief clear, and Granit really took the time to understand what we wanted.
They were also very good at making sure we had the right contract in place with our builder. They were very buttoned-down on the administration of the contract; providing a good balance with getting the creative side right and guiding us through the contractual elements.
Overall, we are delighted with Granit. We have a lovely home that is full of storage without compromising on the light spacious feel we wanted.
