I am delighted to announce I have been appointed to the Wandsworth Design Review Panel.

The objective of the panel is to provide impartial design advice to property developers in Wandsworth. Through this advice and counsel, we hope to improve the overall standard of design and architecture in large projects throughout the borough.

The panel is an advisory board only, with no formal decision-making power. It is also independent of the Wandsworth Borough Council Planning Applications Committee. However, I hope this will not impact on its ability to make a real difference.

I have been an architect for 25 years and expect to use my design experience and knowledge to play a full and useful role on the Panel. I look forward to working with the other Panel members too, including architects from local architecture practices, both large and small.
