We are pleased to see one of our projects feature in August’s edition of Build It.
The article entitled ‘A Piece of Home’ features our Broadgates Road project. The feature tells the story of how ‘a growing family and an entourage of visiting Australian relatives prompted clients, Tim and Fiona Johnson to find a bigger property, which they could turn into their own Antipodean-inspired home’.
The house is in Wandsworth, South West London where our brief was to design an extension at ground level and fully refurbish the property to a high standard, maximising space where possible.
In the feature, Tim and Fiona tell how choosing the right people for their project was largely based on instinct. “For us, personality and relationships are the critical ingredients. Cost was important, too, but we felt that if we were going to embark on a project like this then we had to get on with the architect and builder.”
Architect James Munro worked closely with clients Tim and Fiona on the design, paying particular attention the family’s day-to-day living routines. The Johnsons’ are delighted with their rejuvenated home and you can hear from them by clicking here.
